Why can't my iphone connect to wifi but ipad can?

I got the iPhone 4s and tried to connect to the home wifi. All the laptops work, the iPad works, iPod works, but not iPhone.I tested the password on my iPad and it connected fine. I use both the passphrase and 26 key both failed. I disabled security and iPhone could not connect. help!!

Power cycle the router.

Turn off all security.

Verify it is not doing MAC filtering, if it is, add the iPhone to the approved list.


On the device Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Connections.


Does it connect to other Wi-Fi networks?


If none of the above works or it is unable to connect to any Wi-Fi network, take it to Apple or whomever provides support/service in your country.
