How to enter percent sign"?

If you are looking at the iOS keyboard for the iPhone and/or iPad, then in the lower left corner of the keyboard, tap the "123" key. Then, just above the ABC key, tap on the "#+=" key. The % key should be on the top row, about in the middle of the row.

shift + 5 = %

sorry, demo, i was talking about imac keyboard not iPad keyboard!

In the Mail app it shows on my keyboard under the .?123 option in the centre of the middle row. In the Notes app go into .?123 and then tap the #+= button and it should be in the middle of the top row

This is the iPad keyboard where the % is clearly visible when you tap the ?123 key and then tap the #+= key.
