help developing an iPad app

HI

I am a middle school teacher and I would like to learn how to create an app for my students. I am asking for grant $$ to learn from an expert since I am overwhelmed by the amount of App Developer info here. I already have a pretty clear idea of what I want to create -- just need the how to's.

A) WHO can help me?

B) WHAT software will I need?

C) HOW MUCH will this cost me (time and money)?

This isn't paint-by-number....no one can boil it down any easier than it is without doing the work for you.

Sign up for the Individual Developer Program and use the resources that come with it via the iOS Dev Center.

An app can cost upwards of USD$12k if you're just shopping.
