I locked myself out of my MacBook pro. Help!

On start up, my comp always had my name and a guest user option. Since I am the only one who uses my computer I tried to delete the guest user option. When I went to the login screen to see if it worked I was unable to login with my normal password. Help! I still have all software disks and receipts. How do I fix this?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), iOS 5.0.1, Urgent!

Mac OS X: Changing or resetting an account password. If you have 10.7.2, don't delete the guest user account, it is there for iCloud.

I tried this already. It isnt working for me, I'm stuck at a login in screen requesting an admin name and password. When I insert the disk and hold C, nothing happens.
