How do I combine 2 scanned docs into one?

I have scanned two documents to my desktop. I don't know how to combine the two pages into one document. Can someone give me an easy answer?

what are the types of the scaned files? PDF, JPG, other?

Well assuming that they are PDFs.

Try the following Automator workflow:
