How do I uninstall the lastest operating system and reinstall the older one. The new one has wrecked my iMac.

The iMac is 3 years old. Snow Lepord was running fine before I loaded the newest one. I had problems immediatly after I installed the update.
If you erase the disk and install from the DVD that came with your Mac that will return you to the original operating system.
Remember if you erase the disk, everything is gone. So if there is anything that you want to keep, a backup first would be a good idea.
I doubt that is going to help seeing as how neither I nor any of the users I help to support saw any problems with Snow Leopard. I think a much better solution would be to tell us what is wrong and maybe we might be able to suggest a less drastic step to fix your problems.

It's running a million times slower. I'm getting ghost images when the windows are open. It's crashes everytime I try to do anything online. I've deleted (backed up on an external hard drive) all images and music to free up space. This computer should be super fast...like it was before.
I have to be away from the computer until tonight. I'll check back in then. Thanks for looking into this for me! 🙂 I'm pulling my hair out over this.
