How to Remove FB Birthdays from iCal?
I recently added a subscription from Facebook to add/link all birthdays to iCal? Now I would like to delete them. How can I delete birthdays exported from Facebook?
Thanks!

if click the Calendars button in the left upper corner
you uncheck the fbCal birthdays checkbox
if click the Calendars button in the left upper corner

I don't know for you, but there I only one birthdays subscription calendar that shows both my iCloud contacts and my fb contacts. Unchecking it also remove my contact birthdays.
When you say uncheck the fbCal, do you mean you got 2 distincts subcription for iCloud and fb?
I'm searching for this option in both Contacts and iCal without success. I'm pretty sure that this will be required by users.
You need to fix this via your Contacts. In Contacts go to Preferences>Accounts>Facebook and uncheck "Enable this account". This will also have the effect of removing all your facebook contacts from your Contacts.
The issue that need to be fixed here is not to remove FB contact, it's to remove FB birthdays.
Ironically, you can independently switch off FB calendar and contact with iOS6 but not in ML.
I am having the same annyoing issue. I have unchecked the calendar sync under facebook options (iphone settings), which did nothing. The best I've done is uncheck the calendar in the calendar app, but it still shows up in notifications.
I, like you, want to keep the contact sync and delete facebook events from my calendar. I'm assuming that this is an issue of "it's already in the calendar, so turning the sync feature off won't remove them." While it will not continue to sync, the events are probably stuck in there. Is there an automated way to remove all events from a particular calendar?
This is really a terrible cluttering issue, and one that is not my fault this time!
đ GOT IT!
Go to settings --> facebook --> and turn off contacts and calendars and click "update contacts." This will remove the facebook events from your calendar as well as your contacts. Now you can turn contact sync back on, update contacts, and you will get your contacts WITHOUT all of their birthdays.
Note: I performed this just a few min ago, and after hitting update contacts, the bar went very quickly and said that 0 contacts were updated. This is false, and as I type this message, my FB contacts are getting sync'd.
Goodluck, hope this works for (all) you too!
Great tip.
I'm still hoping that Apple will give an option to this procedure like they have done on Mountain Lion.
Hi,
I can confirm you that these settings are available under 6.1. Make sure to verify that your privacy settings are correctly giving access to Facebook. Settings-> Privacy
Thank you!!!!
Thank you Rudegar! I should have looked here before the million things I tried first.
Thank you SO much!
