how to set default wireless connection
At another house for a while, how do I get the local wifi to connect automatically?

Hi,
You just have to connect to the wifi with the Airport icon on the top left corner of then menu bar, next the hour indicator.
You probably have to enter the password, if you check save the password for this local wifi, next time, your macintosh will connect automatically.
That's ok for my local wifi at house, and for local wifi at dad's house.
pretty simple like a mac 😉
