I cannot access my iCloud mail (formerly MobileMe, formerly .Mac - I've had this account since the day iTools launched) using my 3rd gen 8GB iPod Touch (which is stuck at iOS 4.2.1).

Since it's only an e-mail address, it should be a matter of tweaking the mail server settings, correct. I have tried everything I can find online, including adding the p01-imap.mail.me.com all the way to p99-imap.mail.me.com as the incoming mail server settings. I keep getting the "user name or password" or "no password provided" error messages every time I try and check for mail.


My @mac.com e-mail is my main address and it's a huge inconvenience to not be able to check my e-mail from the device any longer.


can anyone help or provide some insight or am I stuck until I replace the iPod?
