downloading pdf files

downloading pdf files

just recently, when I try to download a pdf file from a website, I just get a black screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe reader but to no effect.

Go to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins

Move the Adobe PDF Viewer plugin to the Trash.

Restart your Mac.

No adobe plug ins in that folder.

I have located it but the internet plug in folder is empty
