How to create OGG with Compressor?

There doesn't seem to be a way to batch process OGG in Compressor. I tried creating a custom setting using the Xiph quicktime plugin, but it failed with a

QuickTime Error: -2041.

Oddly, I can convert one at a time with Quicktime 7, so the plugin does work.

Has anyone had any success with OGG in Compressor?

Seems weird that Apple doesn't support OGG. In their Safari Dveloper site, they recommend it's use in connection with HTML5, which is why I need the OGG Vorbis files.

Final Cut Studio '09, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Coustom settings for OGG works here in Compressor...

If you want to batch encode with Quicktime 7. Open all of videos in Quicktime 7... Pick the first video to encode... Encode... Pick the second video to encode... Ecncode... So on and so on.

If your still having problems, download MPEG Steamclip app to batch/encode the videos. It's free program!

HI David,

Can you tell me exactly what settings you used to set up your encode in Compressor? Did you have to install the Xiph Quicktime plugin first? By the way, I'm encoding audio only (OGG Vorbis)

Your Quicktime 7 example is not really a batch process if you're doing each separately...

Will look into the MPEG Steamclip option. Was not aware that it could patch process.

Thanks for your response.
