Q: iMovie 11 is not supporting Arabic write unlike pervious version!!

Hi,

The pervious iMovie version was supporting the Arabic Language writing. After downloading the latest version 11 it gives wrong Arabic writing (not connected letters)!!! what is the solution for that?? knowing that I have businesses interrupted because of that.

Please advice at earlist.

If there is no solution, please advice how to return the prevouse version (iMovie 9).

Regards,

Not connected letters means that you have probably got a Windows arabic font active.  Make sure the font is an Apple font like Geeza Pro.

All you can do is try other fonts that you do like.  If they do not work, there is nothing you can do about it.  Arabic fonts provided by Apple at present (you are posting in a thread from 4 years ago), include Al Bayan, Baghdad, Damascus, Decotype Naskh, Geeza Pro, Nadeem, Kufi, Alfirat, Algiers, Alkhalil, Alrafidain, Alfanni, Basra, Dijla, Koufi Abjadi, Laimoon, Nisan, Raya, Somer, Yaziji, Zawra
