I can't type in the search bar on itunes

So... I can't type in the search bar on the Itunes

+ There is no type or words on anything when I sync/connect my ipod

as you can see below. No words at all.

I have I run vista home premium with service pack2

I have also uninstalled iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour , Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

in that order like appletold me to 8 times.

Has anyone seen this problem before and/or know how to fix it.
