My Mac started acting weird. First Mail started rrunning very slowly and then Safari. After I rebooted, all of my icons in the Dock went back to the original Default setting. Yesterday Safari kept crashing and finally opened after 4 tries.I do not know how to get my old Mac back! I have copied abridged Console log below;

    How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?

    Disconnect all peripherals from your computer.

    Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.

    Select your language.

    Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.

    Select Disk Utility.

    Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.

    Click Repair Disk.

    Restart your computer when done.

    Repair permissions after you reach the desktop-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751 and restart your computer.

    Booting in Safe Mode Safe Mode deletes system caches that may make a difference.

    A Safe Mode boot takes longer then a normal boot so be patient.

    Once you are in Safe Mode go to the Apple menu icon top left corner of the screen. From the drop down menu click: Restart.

    If that is correct, your system software is completely outdated.  Perhaps just your profile needs updating....  if so, click Your Stuff at the top of this window.
