Every time I try to download a RAR file I get an incomplete file that can't be uncompressed. I don't think that this issue is specifically restricted to Safari, I tried with several browsers and had the same issue with all of them. It's definately a problem on my computer though. I can get the file by using a different computer to do the download and it appears to be just rar files, sit files download fine.

Thanks but it doesn't work. The downloaded file is incomplete so I can't uncompress it regardless of what utility I use. Something is interupting the download or corrupting the downloaded file.
😊Found the problem, should have thought of it before. Norton Anti Virus was corrupting the file or blocking it maybe. Not sure which or what they have against rar files.
Norton? When you have some time you may want to check out the ASC search for Norton I did here And not just being able to download and install files.
Norton on a Mac... causes most Mac users problems.
