My iMac is not starting up when I push the start button. The only thing on is the white light in the lower right corner

Can you clarify you iMac model? Your equipment line says you have OS 10.7, but it can't run on the older iMacs in this forum. However the "white light" reference sounds like a older iMac. Does your look something like this?:

Try an SMU Reset. Without knowing your model, I can't suggest which one to use. You could search using "SMU Reset site:support.apple.com." If it's an iMac G5 it's this.
Also, do you get the chime when you boot? How old is the computer? It might need a new PRAM battery (clock battery.) If dead in some models, will prevent booting. Average lifetime of this battery is five years.
