"Quick Look" Button Size Too Big

Greetings,

I have a scaling problem with Safari's button size. It overlaps the title heading in the browser (see image). Here is what I have tried so far.

Exit Safari and delete my Safari preference folder. NO GOOD.
OnyX: Cleaning User Cache. NO GOOD.
OnyX: Cleaning Font Cache. NO GOOD.
Made a new user account. SUCCESS.

Is there any way to fix this without having to migrate all my files over to a new user account?

Unfortunately, we can't view the image. Make sure it's formatted as JPG.

Since it's a user specific issue, go to Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.

Deselect: Enable plug-ins

Quit then relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, you need to troubleshoot third party Safari add ons > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

Could also be an extension ... back to Safari > Preferences, this time select the Extensions tab.

If you have any installed, turn that OFF, quit then relaunch Safari to test.

I can see the image from other computers in my house. Maybe you have a problem with your browser. Can anyone else see the image that I posted above?

Anyway, your suggestions didn't work. thanks for trying.

Might be corrupted preferences...

Quit Safari.

Go to ~/Library/Preferences

Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.

Relaunch Safari to test.

I can see all other images just fine.

You said Safari preference folder.

Safari.plist is a file not a folder.

I owe you an apology. I accused you of something that I actually did to you. I did not read your post correctly and feel quite embarrassed. Sorry 😟

Also you were 100% correct and your suggestion of deleting the com.apple.Safari.plist WORKED! Thank you and again sorry.

It's ok... don't worry about it. Troubleshooting browsers can be frustrating and after helping in the Safari community for 4 yrs... I'm well aware of it. No apology necessary!
