There is a difference between Java and Javascript. Safari on the iPad can work with Javascript, but there is no Java for the iPad. (nor iPhone, nor iPod Touch.)
so is there going to be a way for me to run the program on my IPAD2?
It needs Java, so is there something comprable for the Ipad2?
Simple answer: no.
Anything that needs to "plug-in" to the browser like Java, Flash, ActiveX, Silverlight, etc. will not work on the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch.
You should try searching the App Store to see if SuccessEd has an app.
Otherwise, you can try to see if an alternate browser like Skyfire or Puffin would work. Skyfire operates by running Flash on a server, then sending the results to the iPad. I don't know if Skyfire does the same for Java so you'll have to search the App Store.
If SuccessEd is accessed via the web , you can try accessing the site via the Google Search App .. There's a site I frequent that requires Java/Javascript that will not process when accessed straight from Safari, but does function when accessed via Google Search ..don't know why, or if GS does some things 'in the cloud' , but I was surprised ..
