How can I turn off my delivery reports?

I recently got charged for lots of delivery reports from my messages and was just wondering if there was a way to turn these off? Thanks!

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, Orange

The iPhone does not natively support delivery reports, thus there is no setting to turn these on or off. You must have done something on your carrier's side. The only setting on an iPhone, regarding messages, is Read Receipts. This allows others to be notified when you have read their messages: Settings>Messages>Send Read Receipts>On/Off.

What carrier are you using?

TwiceNightly

Are you on O2?

If you are then start your message with *0# with no space before the rest of the message

For example:

*0#Hello, how are you today?
