Jan 12, 2012 2:35 PM in response to Mr. Mctevby Nick Holmes,The AUDIO_TS folder is there because it has to be, according to the strict DVD specfication.
On a Video DVD it does not have content. Audio is multiplexed into the video files.
You can't use the DVD's .VOB files directly in Final Cut Pro but help is at hand.
Read this tutorial I made: http://www.secondchairvideo.com/?p=739

Dec 25, 2015 12:29 AM in response to Mr. Mctevby Town in sky,As well as we known, Final Cut Pro only supports DV, HDV, P2 MXF (DVCProHD), XDCAM, and 2K film formats, but obviously DVD is not included. If you also are looking for ways to load DVD to Final Cut Pro for further editing, you'd better to convert DVD to Final Cut Pro compatible video formats initially.
If you have no idea about the workflow, you can refer to this tutorial: http://dvd-playback.blogspot.tw/2015/11/rip-convert-dvd-for-editing-in-final-cut -pro.html
