Importing from a DVD to FCP

I inserted a DVD and want to import the program to FCP.

I click on import and click files then choose a file and there

is the DVD icon in the finder. Click on the DVD and there

are 2 folders Audio_TS and Video_TS.

I succesfully downloaded the Video files to FCP but there are

no files in the Audio_TS folder. There is audio on this DVD but

no files to transfer.

Now what?

Thanks.

Kevin

As well as we known, Final Cut Pro only supports DV, HDV, P2 MXF (DVCProHD), XDCAM, and 2K film formats, but obviously DVD is not included. If you also are looking for ways to load DVD to Final Cut Pro for further editing, you'd better to convert DVD to Final Cut Pro compatible video formats initially.

If you have no idea about the workflow, you can refer to this tutorial: http://dvd-playback.blogspot.tw/2015/11/rip-convert-dvd-for-editing-in-final-cut -pro.html
