I copied an article on the web and then tried to paste it into a blank Pages document.
The paste operation flowed to the bottom of the page, but did not flow into a new page when
it ran out of room.
How do I paste a long document into a Pages document?

Thanks Jerry! That did the trick.
There is unseen stuff that rides along with text selected from a browser and this stuff can fool the Pages app. Paste and Match Style strips that extra code away as it is pasted.
