iphone 4s led flashes when phone rings

Sometimes my iphone 4s flashes the led when the phone rings.

how do I turn this off or on ??

Got to Settings>General>Accessibility>LED Flash for Alerts>OFF

My phone goes shuts down when rings.. Please could someone help? its brand new iphone 4 s updated with IOS 8.2.
