I can't update because it says my video card isn't good enough. It's the standard card that came with the Mac Pro. Can't find a list of approved video cards.
I don't want to spend a great deal and I hoping that some day, some year before I die, Apple will release a Mac Pro with Thunderbolt, if they ever get back to being a computer company again.
What Mac Pro do you have?

This card does not work, you have second generation Mac Pro. There are similar cards for the second. You can use the content of the link and chooce the right one if you want this card.
