why cant I update my apps

I changed the pass word on my intunes account....Why cant I update my apps or do in app purchaces

iPod touch, iOS 5.0.1

My guess is that you inadvertently created a second Apple ID. If that's the case, you need to sign out and back in again. Investigate here.

It wont let me sign back in with the old password.... I guess Im just stuck with being unable to update or do in-app purchaces with my new pass word....Have same ID just different password
