Restoring from Time Machine backup...

Hello, firstly, i'm running to MacBooks with OS X Lion, 1 (number 1)MacBook has all my apps (Photoshop, Illustrator etc), my music and videos etc, which I also use Time Machine with. The other (number 2)MacBook has just the operating system and a user account and the usual apps it comes with, no media etc.

What I would like to do is restore MacBook 2 with the Time Machine backup from MacBook 1, BUT...I don't want the restore to put all the media etc on MacBook 2. JUST the apps (Photoshop etc). MacBook 2 doesn't have enough space to do a full restore from MacBook 1 backup.

Is this possible?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
