iphone 4 google search button won't work

I'm running the latest os on my iphone 4. When I use safari and go to google and typ in what I would like to search for, the button on the botom that says search doesnt work. It makes the button clicking sound but it just doesn't work. I have to press the magnifying glass next to the search box. Is anyone else having the same problem??Any quick fixes?? I will restore the phone to see how that works. But not too hpeful on that. This problem has only ocured lately. Not sure when it started.
