Please help... Upgraded my RAM to 8gb on an early 2011 Macbook Pro and now the computer seems to be dead. I got the RAM from Crucial Memory. Anyone able to help with this problem?

Today i recieved my package of 8gb of RAM that was going to be used to upgrade the current that i had in my MBP. Following the procedure to take out the stock RAM and replace with the RAM that i ordered i then, after sealing everything back up, attempted to switch on MBP and nothing happened. No sounds, any indication that there was power. I tried to plug in my power adaptor and it only displays a extremely dim flickering green light.

Anyone able to help me?

make sure the new ram is seated properly in both slots. If you still get nothing, put back in the old ram, verify that your mac now works properly, and send the new ram back.
