Jan 14, 2012 12:23 PM in response to Tesseraxby delhomme,Have connected my Kodak USB printer and a USB headphone set. Neither worked on the airport USB but both worked from the USB on my computer.

Jan 14, 2012 12:36 PM in response to delhommeby Tesserax,The AEBSn's USB port will ONLY support USB printers, hard disk drives, or hubs ... so your USB headphones would NOT work.
However, your USB should work, although not all USB printers are supported. Please check out the following Apple Support article for help with troubleshooting your printer.

Jan 14, 2012 1:14 PM in response to Tesseraxby delhomme,Went to the article, which I had tried before but thought I would try one more time in case I missed something, followed step by step and didn't work. Went to the Kodak website to download update for printer driver (I have a 5500 series printer), but still didn't work after the update. Works fine when plugged into my Mac USB.
The airport utility recognizes my printer, however when I go to print using the airport USB, I get an error message from my printer that says it is not connected.

Jan 14, 2012 1:54 PM in response to Tesseraxby delhomme,Kodak's website claims it will work with it so this will probably be one of those issues that isn't resolved for some time because neither Apple nor Kodak will try to fix because they both say it will work. Wll be interested to see if there is anyone out there with a Kodak 5500 printer using it with the airport USB.
