iWeb, cannot get rid of the reflections effect, what gives?

Hopefully someone can help me out here but I have just started working with iWeb and for the most part think it to be great, however I am running into one glitch thats driving me nuts.

I have the reflections capabilities checked off or unchecked when using the inspector for my images, yet leave the drop shadow on. I load the website up to my trial .mac account, click on the slideshow and everytime I get the reflection effect, which I absolutely loathe, while the drop shadow is never to be found. Any I find the reflection effect to be very distracting to my images and would love to deep six this anamoly?

Thanks in advance, and btw the link is http://web.mac.com/routlaw/iWeb

ATTENTION APPLE - PLEASE LET ME TURN OFF REFLECTIONS IN PHOTO SLIDESHOWS!!!

I got iLife 06 only for iWeb. I wanted iWeb mainly for the slideshow capability. When I bought iLife, I was assured by the Apple Store folks that I could indeed turn off the reflections on photos.

Now after building a little test site, I see that the reflections cannot be turned off in slideshows. I'm a photographer, I would never show anyone a slideshow with that effect... it's totally distracting and cheesy.

So now iWeb (and therefore iLife) is useless to me until Apple decides to let me turn off the reflections in slideshows. I love all things Mac, and think iWeb is already remarkable in many ways. But this really *****.

You'd need to some heavy hand coding of the page code and the external javascript files to "turn off" the reflection:

Why not just use the "old" slide show feature? Just "Publish to Folder" instead of .Mac. Drag the new folder (and all of the elements) to your iDisk Sites folder.
Once the transfer is complete your page is online.

I like QT Kirks response assuming thats all there is to implement this and bypass the reflections.

Perhaps another method also would be to just create your slide show in iPhoto and then import that to your iWeb design using the media import button. While I have not tried this I see no reason why it would not work beautifully. There have been many QT movies uploaded this way as well that seem to work just fine.

I agree though, whoever came up with the reflections gimic needs boot. It awful.
