I have three Lion Airdrop capable computers in my house.
My main NEW 27"iMac never sees other computers until a file is sent to it.
Other computers always see my new iMac regardless of whether I am trying to send somthing or not.
What do I need to do to make my new iMac see the other computers.
Bluetooth is seected ON on my main iMac.

Do you have the option to Show AirDrop selected in finder preferences?
Yes that is ticked on all computers.

Don't know if anyone's still checking on this thread, I'm having a similar problem.
My MacBook seems to be running Airdrop fine, I can see my boyfriend's MacBook Pro and send him files. But my MacBook is not showing up in his Airdrop until I send him something, at which point he can quickly send something back to me before I disappear from his Airdrop again.
Has anyone see this problem before, I'm still stuck with my main iMac not seeing the other airdrop capable Macs??
