how do i overcome error 2131 when burning trying to burn discs?

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

The last failed audio CD burn had error code 2131(0x00000853). It happened on drive D: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-S082H on CDR media at speed 0X.
I cannot find any firmeware updates for the drive D device.
Please advise

There's an SB01 revision of the firmware available from TSST:
SN-S082H Global distribution firmware SB01
But I'd doublecheck first to make sure that that is compatible with your model. There's instructions on the Samsung site.
