unlock iphone 4s in India

Hi,

I got an Iphone 4s with AT&T from US.

I am back to India now and i want to unlock it.

Can i rely on the softwares available online ?.

Is it safe ?.

People say that unlocking iphone4s may take some more months and the sites are fake.

Please suggest me a good and reliable site if any to download the latest unlocking software.

Sorry, any unlocking of an AT&T iPhone would require a "hack". That can not be discussed on this Apple site

The ONLY entity that can authorize unlocking an iPhone is the carrier it is locked to. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones under any circumstances. Sell it and purchase one in India. You can NOT get that phone legitimately unlocked.
