My iPad stopped playing videos.

My iPad will not play any videos. I open the video icon and the screen goes black!!!! Please help!!!!

Try resetting your iPad by holding down the home and sleep buttons till the Apple logo appears.

Yesterday, I could watch Netflix programs on my iPad. Today, I can't seem to watch any videos--I have a PBS app and tried to do a "watch now" program. In both cases, downloading goes on for several minutes but nothing gets downloaded. I have an iPad2, 5.0.1 and use AT&T to capture the internet through a wireless router. If that makes a difference. I would have thought it was Netflix if the PBS video hadn't also displayed the same problems.
