If that doesn't work then open System Preferences - Print & Scan - Highlight the printer on the left pane and right click it - then select Reset Printing System....
If this does not solve the problem then it's best to remove the printer and re-install per Apple's instructions in Printing Overview OS X Lion. To remove the printer open the Print & Scan Preference highlight the printer and click the - symbol at the bottom of the box. As an extra set of insurance I would then restart in Safe Mode to reset some caches and then restart normally before using the install instructions.
