Wifi issues
My wifi is greyed out and I cannot do anything about it. I have a 2nd gen Ipod touch. if you need to know anything else please ask.

Try resetting your device by holding down both the home and lock buttons for ~10 seconds or until the device restarts, ignoring the power slider.
If that doesn't work, take it to an Apple Retail Store and contact an Apple Genius about your issue.
