Jan 16, 2012 1:27 PM in response to synyster156by JerryiPhone4,related to this issue
I had the "itunes stopped working" and wouldn't load at all
None of the fixes online worked and after reinstalling (twice) I was getting desperate
I copied the entire iTunes folder to a laptop and started working from it
When I looked at the "new" iTunes I noted & remembered that I had added a large number of podcasts and had not allowed all the new episodes to load before I closed the program
On my desktop computer I deleted the itunes "library" and iTunes started without a squeek

Jan 16, 2012 2:33 PM in response to JerryiPhone4by synyster156,yeah in some cases creating a new iTunes library file could fix issues like that mostly because when iTunes tries to access a bad library file iTunes will take so long to analyze bad information and it eventually crashes for issues like that you should try these articles

Jan 16, 2012 2:36 PM in response to synyster156by Vaulo M,The article was helpful in knowing how to uninstall all the related software, but when I downloaded i-tunes after restarting my computer I still got the message that it was not working and windows was closing it to look for a solution. Their solution is to download an updated version, just a generic answer. Someone said QuickTime needed to be working for i-tunes to work, so I reinstalled that as well but got the same result from i-tunes.
