After about 1 week of use the Contacts icon has disappeared fron my 4s home screen. Contacts still available thru phone app, and spotlight search shows the icon. Restriction are disabled, changes allowed, and the usual Settings - General - Reset - Reset Home Screen - did not work. Any ideas ??

Yes, just saw that suggestion on another post. Any way to get it back on Home screen ?? Reset didn't work
You can rearrange apps easily... it's a fundamental feature of the iPhone and is described in the User Guide, p. 22.

The User Guide is long but using the search function of your PDF reader makes finding things pretty easy, although it may take a few tries to find the right search term.
