No. When you remove the Boot Camp partition (to remove Windows) you will use Boot Camp Assistant. Instead of choosing the menu item to create a partition you will choose the menu item to remove the partiton and restore your OSx partition to its original size.

Back up your data from your Boot Camp partition and from your OSx partition before doing this.

This should not affect your OSx data and applications (if you do it correctly, but errors do occur sometimes) but to be safe do a backup. This will absolutely remove your data in the Boot Camp partition. Unless you don't want this data, do a backup before running Boot Camp Assistant.

If you remove the Boot Camp partition you will lose your data. So always back up your data before doing anything major like removing partitions. Save your data to an external HD, DVD, or thumb drive. Then use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the Boot Camp partition and return your HD to OSx. This will not affect your data on your OSx partition. But once again, before doing this it would be a good idea to create a backup of the data on your OSx partition.

Messing with partitions is a rather severe activity and something could go wrong. Always back up your data before undertaking such an activity.
