it only does so thru iMessage. My friend (with another iphone) sends me video thru text message (not imesage) but my phone doesn't send videos thru. i already restarted the phone twice..... anyone know how to fix this its frustrating the heck out of me

It might depend on how long/large the video file is. I'm not sure but there might be restrictions on the size of the file you plan on sending via sms. Are you able to send send those same video files that you received back to your friends?
yea, i was able to send that message i received bk, but even when i cut the video i recorded with my own phone to 5 seconds it still wouldnt send. im starting to wonder if the phone just wont send the videos i take?
actually i just figured out that i cant send video (or picture) messages thru sms messages. is it possible that the problem lies within that?
In Settings / Messages, make sure MMS Messages is turned on.
so the next day my phone sends the video and pics. i called att and it appears to be a reception problem..... ihy ATT. you're lucky i cant talk and text with the other companies
