Is my 2nd generation Ipod touch compatible with icloud?

I have a 2nd generation itouch can I use icloud? It is not recognized when I connect to itunes , When I connect my ipad2 it recognizes the icloud app. How do I fix this? Or can it be fixed. Is my 2nd generation Ipod touch compatible with icloud?
