FaceTime and iMessage won't let me log in

Try rebooting the iPod, it worked for me. 🙂

Hi there I had the same problem and searched Yahoo UK & Ireland and they had the answer that worked for me. Seemed strange but it worked for both Facetime and iMessage. Here it is below:

"For people having this problem on iPod/iPhone/iPad I have an iPad and had this problem and quickly found out how to solve it. Go into settings>general>time and date and there's a button that says set automatically. Flick that button off and on a few times then leave it on and try and sign in iMessage/FaceTime ect.. Problem fixed.. This is caused because when people play games and change the date to gain coins cash ect faster all your apple goes down."

I Had The Same Exact Problem. My iMessage Would Not Deliver Any Text Messages So I Logged Out Thinking I Could Log Back In. I Was Completely Logged Into Wifi And Yet It Told Me The Reason Was Because I Had No Network Connection. It Said "iMessage Could Not Sign In. Pease Check You Network Connection And Try Again." I Turned the date auto switch on and off several times AND restarted iPad, then it Logged in. Had to use Skype up until now.
