FaceTime and iMessage won't let me log in

My FaceTime and iMessage have been working perfectly normal. The other day I went to FaceTime a friedn and it said to 'Get Started' like when you first set it up. I clicked sign in. Then it came up with my email address to make sure that that was the email address that I wanted to use. I clicked Next and it said 'Verifying'. It verified for about 10 seconds and then it went back to the page before. Where I had to long in. The same thing is happening with my iMessage.

I really want my FaceTime and iMessage to work without resetting my iPod Touch.

Hi there I had the same problem and searched Yahoo UK & Ireland and they had the answer that worked for me. Seemed strange but it worked for both Facetime and iMessage. Here it is below:

"For people having this problem on iPod/iPhone/iPad I have an iPad and had this problem and quickly found out how to solve it. Go into settings>general>time and date and there's a button that says set automatically. Flick that button off and on a few times then leave it on and try and sign in iMessage/FaceTime ect.. Problem fixed.. This is caused because when people play games and change the date to gain coins cash ect faster all your apple goes down."

Hope this helps.

I Had The Same Exact Problem. My iMessage Would Not Deliver Any Text Messages So I Logged Out Thinking I Could Log Back In. I Was Completely Logged Into Wifi And Yet It Told Me The Reason Was Because I Had No Network Connection. It Said "iMessage Could Not Sign In. Pease Check You Network Connection And Try Again." I Was Searching For DAYS For The Answer And Found Nothing. Not Till Sunnybuster's Reply. Therefore This Post Was To Thank Sunnybuster
