I recently lost my iPod Touch, and am interested in purchasing the iPod Nano.
I currently have 1000+ songs in my library. I want to pick the Nano that has the capacity to hold all of my songs.

Click on the Music item in the Finder's sidebar, double-click iTunes, and check the size of the iTunes Media folder. The combined size of the music files inside determines how large an iPod needs to be to hold it all. Any figure based on a specific number of songs is likely to be misleading.
