Time Zone issue with iOS 5.0.1 Calendar

When subscribing to a public iCalendars (.ics), the events are not being converted to the correct time-zone on iPad, iPhone or iPod devices running the latest iOS 5.0.1. However, the same public iCalendars are correctly being converted when subscribed using the iCal application on the MAC OS X 10.7.2. To help illustrate the issue, I have created a public iCalendar with events created using the four time-zones in the continental US.

Steps to subscribe using iPad, iPhone or iPod devices running iOS 5.0.1:

  1. Click "Settings" icon
  2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
  3. Click "Add Account…"
  4. Select "Other" option
  5. Select "Add Subscribed Calednar"
  6. Type "https://files.me.com/trinamays/7oxjih"
  7. Now open "Calendar" on the device and navigate to Wednesday, January 4, 2011
  8. The issue is that the events ARE NOT displaying the correct start and end times based upon the device's set time-zone.

Steps to subscribe using a Mac computer running OS X 10.7.2:

  1. Launch "iCal" application on your Mac
  2. Select "Calendar" dropdown menu and click "Subscribe"
  3. Type "https://files.me.com/trinamays/7oxjih"
  4. Select the location if you need to change it and click "OK"
  5. Now navigate to Wednesday, January 4, 2011, and notice that the events ARE displaying the correct start and end times based upon the computer's set time-zone.

Is this the correct forum to communicate this issue to Apple so that it can be fixed?
