How do I add info to a previously burnt Memorex DVD+RW?

You can't. You have to erase it and then reburn. The Mac doesn't do multiple burns to a RW disc.

Hi
And
there are two parts here that asks for problems
• Memorex - known problem maker (usually don't work)
• DVD+/-RW - use to fail too
I only use - Verbatim DVD-R

Bengt:
I'm in the process of creating the test DVD we discussed but have hit a wall in choosing an appropriate audio track that would best display the problem. I'm just not an audiophile and don't know what type of music would be best. It's know in the business as a "tin ear". 😉 If you have a track that you feel would be best for the test can you email it to me? Let me know and I'll give you an email address.
When I finish the test I can post the dmg file on my server where you can download it to try yourself if you'd like.
To me it was obvious in the DiskImage so I didn't need to burn a DVD to find this.
Any music would do but Classic and esp. flute passages are even worse. Can't figure out why there are any difference at all. Shouldn't need to be.
Or I got a specific Gremlin in my set up - so I keep on doing doublet movies as this still give the result I want.
But thank You for taking time - would be great to figure it out.
Yours Very Bengt W
Will see if I have any classical tracks with flutes. Will be getting back to you soon.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - The Magic Flute: Overture
may be a possibility.
Thanks! I finally figured out how to erase the disk & was able to reload lots of files.
Thanks, I'm going to return my unopened Memorex disks & buy Verbatim-R disks. Do the Verbatime RW disks work as well, as I'd prefer to buy rewritables? What about Phillips' CDs?
Thanks again, Bengt.
Trudy:
Verbatim is a very good brand. I'll look into the Magic Flute. Thanks for the suggestion.
So I specifically purchased DVD+RW discs so I could burn things and then add to them later. Is there no way or no software that can be used on the Mac for this??
No, The RW disc can be erased and then burned to a gain but can't be added to one burn after anotherf. And for video DVDs they are terrible. They're OK for data disks, i.e. burning files to the disk, but not for video DVDs.
so is it possible to add to a burned CD instead of a DVD on a Mac. Not trying to use for video. thanks.
There is software that will let you burn multiple burns to a CD. You'll need to go to MacUpdate.com and do a search for "multiple burn" or something like that.
