How can i recover a passowrd that i lost from an encrypted backkup on my iphone?

You cannot - there is no way to recover the password other than for you to remember it. If you cannot remember it, then that backup is effectively lost to you.

Thank the replies from the above! I lost my iPhone 4 backup password last week! I read many the replies from the Apple support, and tried many ways.
Finally, I got out of problem with one suggestion: I used the "iPhone Backup Unlocker" to recover my lost encrypted iPhone 4 backup password on Windows Vista! It is unbelievable for me! Just 3 easy steps! Now, all my contact address, call logs, etc. are back!

i got another minor prblm if u can help here too - for iCloud ID , i get a message " max attempts limit reached, cannot create iCloud apple ID".
