I downloaded an upgrade for my MiFi today. Installation went well until I tried to open the application. Then I received this notice: You can't open the application "DUU_Verizon_MiFi4510L_FW2.23" because it is not supported on this architecture. Now what do I do?

That means it is only designed for newer Macs with Intel processors; you'll need to use an alternative, possibly older version for your PowerPC-based Mac - if the existing software is working, leave it as it is.
Thanks, that makes sense. I was on the phone with Verizon trying to figure this out and they did not have this information. Their only concern was my OS. They said that I could go to my local Verizon store and they would upgrade for me. I hope this works.
