Q: why does my itunes keep shutting down

I download podcasts from Itunes to watch later when I have time. Not doing anything else within 2 or 3 minutes i get an error saying Itunes needs to shut down. I have everything updated as far as windows and quicktime and Itunes goes. Any helpfull suggestions would be appreciated Thank you
