Hello Deborah
Yes you can using Printopia on a Mac or a PC. It permits non AirPrint printers to be used with iPad oriPhone via Airprint.
I do that in a restaurant here in Paris but I've some problem with format of reports wich are always in A4 size even when it is set on a receipt format on iPad.
Hi Deborah
There are various ways to do this.
We provide an SDK to allow users to develop applications that can communicate with Star printers. Please find a link to it here: http://www.starmicronics.com/support/.
I believe if you install AirPrint on a PC or MAC you should be able to share the TSP100 printer on the network that the machine is connected to and the iPAD (which should be connected to the same network) will be able to see the printer. Please Google "Airprint on PC or MAC" and you should find some instructions.
For further help please contact star support: support@star-emea.com
Best regards

You can do this. We downloaded the SDK from the Star Website. We use the TSP100 connected via USB to an Airport Express. We created our own iOS App and included the framework supplied in the SDK.
You don't.
Nowhere does it say it supports ios.
Hello deggie
I've seen the date of this post but sometimes people find some solution and keep it by themselves.
I'm lookinn at every post about TSP100 and particularly how to use correctly two TSP100 on the same Mac, each printer at a different floor of my restaurant. View the full discussion
