Q: malware.

I did all the steps to remove malware from ly laptop, but when I try to log on to Facebook, it still says that my laptop is infected with malware. What do I need to do to get rid of it? or is it already gone?

If I had to guess, it is just a scareware pop-up.

There is no way a web page can look at the contents of your Mac and determine what software you have installed, let alone figure out you have some malware on it.

This browser pop-up is most likely just trying to get you to click on its links and buy their services.

    This is just a guess.
