I need to create an array of the possibilities of adding any combination of 1-11 in any number of digits to equal 12 anybody know?
1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1=12
to
11+1=12
all possibilities
6+6=12
3+3+3+3=12
4+4+4=12
etc.

I am sorry I don't understand what you want. I know what a scale is but I do not know what a scale permutation-- I didn't take musimatics in school 😉

If you're into music this is more like the Suzuki method of thinking rather than the diatonic system. I've been teaching guitar for 44 years and my students just DO NOT get the western system so I'm improvising to help them "get it" faster.

how many ways can the numbers 1-11 equal 12 any number of repeats or combinations. I need an editable list to print. My only alternative seems to be entering them manually 12 to the 12th power or something.

5: 5 + 5 + 2 (?) or 5 + 5 + 1 + 1
6: 6 + 6
7: 7 + 5 (?) or 7 + 4 + 1 (?) or 7 + 3 + 2 (?) or 7 + 3 + 1 + 1 (?) or ....

1-6 are the most important ones, might make the list smaller
